About the Church
The entrance of the Capes is named after Saint George. As a building or extant small church, Agios Georgios is approximately 150 years younger than Panagia in our case. The church’s north-eastern wall and the half-buried large
stones whose existence we recall from when we were young children playing in the courtyard of Agios Georgios lead us to the first conclusion, i.e. that in the same location there should have been an earlier, smaller church. Unknown when, this temple was devastated by a fall or a fire.
